Fat Daddy’s was named so because our first daughter, Libby, told Mommy that Daddy was not pregnant like Mom with our second child, that he was just a Fat Daddy. The laughter lasted so long that Libby referred to Dad as Fat Daddy for two weeks. A very joyous time! The original name was immediately changed because despite the negative of “fat” in the name; it’s all about family. Skinny or Fat; every kid loves their Dad!

The concept first opened in 2002 when I thought their was an incredible need for a quick service restaurant that catered to the entire family. It is designed to create fun for the kids and quality in product to meet the demand of the parents.

So much of our product is created from scratch. We make all our dips and sauces from fresh, local produce and ingredients. Our chicken product is certified  farm fresh and our hamburger meat is 100% sirloin beef processed at a local meat processor and delivered daily. Our buns are delivered daily from a local bakery. We have many healthy options as well as very unique items such as buffalo chicken burritos and jalapeno hamburger quesadillas.  We have fresh  salads with a twist. We have great shakes and malts. Oh yeah, we also have free ice cream cones if you don’t feel like a shake.

The creation of fat daddy’s is a place I would want to bring my family for lunch or dinner. After the game or cheerleading practice; a business lunch or when I just don’t have enough time to cook.

In the end, all that matters is family, When you come to Fat Daddy’s, you are family!
